I'd like to thank you, and the whole CBar team for looking after me and my group last Friday for my retirement party. Every single thing you did was on point! The food was wonderful, the drinks were cold and always there for us, and the venue, well what can I say...
Your new function room is perfect, and I really couldn't have picked a nicer place for my party. And you turned the weather on for us as well...! The technology (PA and TV) worked perfectly and the little touches like the personalized TV background capped it off. Thanks so much again. You should be proud of both the C Bar redevelopment and also the team you have expertly assembled.

Our sincere Congratulations to you and your team and thank you.  On behalf
of the club I like to forward the heartiest Congratulation on such a wonderful Lunch. We are still receiving compliments from members on yesterday's Lunch. The Calamari was a wonderful success and likewise all enjoyed the novelty of having Affogato. The wines chosen complimented and paired beautifully with the meal.  The welcome glass of Stonegate sparkling pinot chardonnay set the scene for the start to an enjoyable luncheon.  Thus preparing the palate for the Calamari and salad paired beautifully with Stonegate Sauvignon Blanc. Especially noted by some members was how smoothly the transition of service was. This also applied to the attention of detail the two staff had in the serving of the Affogato. Thank you Allan for your attention to detail and please pass on our compliments to the staff, for making our Luncheon such a success.

Melissa Lane - Wedding Reception

Thank you for helping our wedding night go smoothly. The function room was fantastic and everyone complimented you and the wait staff for days afterwards. The CBar Events team went above and beyond to make our wedding reception perfect! The staff delivered a wonderful service, the food was fantastic, and the function room was set up perfectly. Thank you so much for a wonderful night, everyone has given us brilliant feedback and had the best time! We hosted our annual Pharmacy Ball with CBar this year, and we could not be happier with the experience! Super smooth planning process, nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above and beyond to assure our students had the best night. Not to mention the stunning location and food that our guests could not stop talking about. We could not recommend CBar enough for future functions. Thank you to Allan and the rest of the team xx

Robyn Evens - Cocktails & Canapes

I held my birthday party at the CBar in the private room (cocktails and canapes) and it was wonderful.  The location is brilliant, with the view over the ocean and we were fortunate to have a full moon which we were able to view from our cordoned off area of the deck. It's a fairly large space and could have been a bit noisy or felt cavernous but the new acoustic panelling and table setup made it feel cosy and elegant. Allan, the Events Manager, was really helpful in assisting me to plan  the event - choosing the food, guiding me on quantities, timing etc.  He chose a playlist that suited our age group and was on hand during the event to ensure it all went smoothly. I wanted to have a whisky-based cocktail for my guests and they came up with a fabulous one for us. The wait staff were lovely, the food was delicious and plentiful and the event was just what I hoped for. Allan coordinated it all with no stress for me, and we all had a great time.  Highly recommend it.

Christina Kalleske - Canape Christmas Party

I just wanted to pass on a big thank you for everything you did for us on Friday night, and the lead up to. From coordinating the function and accommodating our various requests, to keeping the canapés flowing and drinks well stocked, you made the whole event feel effortless.
 

I also received a lot of wonderful feedback from our guests about the venue and the overall experience — a real credit to you and the CBar team. Your attention to detail and a calm, accommodating approach genuinely elevated the night and made everyone feel well looked after.

I would like to thank you for making our Christmas party such a success. Your communication, your consideration and your patience was over & beyond. Dessert was well received as was all the meals, which came out all together and each dish, delicious. On behalf of the club, a hearty thanks. We had such a wonderful experience during our event. The communication leading up to and throughout the day was flawless – every detail was handled with care and efficiency. Your attention to detail and quick responsiveness truly stood out. The food was not only beautifully presented but also delicious, with generous portions that everyone loved. And of course, the view was absolutely unmatched! We are planning another event in Townsville soon and will reach out once I have further details 😊 Thanks so much!
